KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
• Participate in monitoring the health of the employees according to the protocols established on the site and according to the local legislation.
- Receive and question the employees concerning their medical data and position held
- Perform routine biometric measurements (weight, size, pulse, blood pressure, temperature, visual acuity)
- Perform additional examinations according to the medical delegation and the country’s legislation
- Take biological blood and urine samples
- Make a first orientation diagnosis
• Assure permanent and continuous care
- Receive and listen to the employees at the medical department
- Identify symptoms or pathologies, either linked to their work or not, and inform the doctor
- Administer first aid and prescribed medicine
• Assure treatment in case of an emergency
- Administer first aid
- Refer to the doctor or the suitable structure
• Manage the health department logistics
- See to it that health care equipment and medical devices remain functional
- Assist in the identification of the medical department’s equipment needs on the site
• Pay attention to working conditions
- Participate in the evaluation of risks pertaining to workstations and provide preventative advice
- Participate in implementing exposure measures in the place of work
- Advise employees on preventative measures: choice of PPE, ergonomic advice…
• In case of physical or mental impairment or disability, assist employees in retaining their job.
• Organisation of health monitoring and administrative procedures
- Plan medical visits in compliance with regulatory requirements, doctor’s orders and Group’s policies
- Manage medical records whilst respecting confidentiality
- Record incidents, accidents and occupational diseases
- Participate in the orientations of the medical department as well as epidemiological studies
• Actively partake in training and promotion activities regarding occupational and general health (stress, nutrition, encouraging physical activity, fight against addictions, noise…)
