Mission: The Webmaster is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s websites to ensure high performance, reliability, security, and an excellent user experience. The role involves overseeing website operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, implementing updates and enhancements, and ensuring alignment with business, branding, and compliance requirements.
Creating master pages for editorial content, campaigns, promotions, and forms on Michelin websites in alignment with launch timelines. Coordinating with country teams via email or Jira to gather localized translations and handling the deployment of pages according to the project scope.
Creating and launching CRM promotions in alignment with scheduled go-live dates, ensuring all necessary validations and approvals are secured from relevant country stakeholders. Collaborating closely with CRM Product Owners to identify potential challenges or blockers and proactively working with them to drive timely fixes or resolutions.
Manage product launches to ensure timely go-live in accordance with the planned start date, coordinating with the data/PIM team to identify and resolve any challenges before launch for a smooth market rollout. Work on the product content update within PIM to tag assets for Product launches.
Prepare master KDL files for new or existing pages/content to initiate localization requests with country/website owners, ensuring timely translation delivery, supporting smooth content deployment across non-English markets.
Ensure that the Group’s editorial guidelines and visual identity of the brand, as well as the basic SEO best practices (metatags, Hn tags, and on-page SEO techniques) and responsiveness are followed and optimized while authoring the web content.
Detecting actively and proposing content improvement, webpage layout improvement, and updates needed, or user experience optimizations whenever relevant to the business stakeholders.
Managing end-to-end JIRA requests to ensure:
Provide a solution to the individual Jira tickets/requests/issues/bugs raised by countries or local markets via the JIRA tracking tool.
Respond to stakeholders’ queries, issues, comments, and suggestions following deadlines defined on individual tickets.
Follow up on the individual issues resolution, especially when creating Gitlab/CBE tickets for code evolution/bug fixing (making sure the tickets are refined, planned, and update sent to countries (through JIRA) when solved.
Manage the e-learning 360 platform and Apostrophe training environment access, and follow up with new users before granting access to requested regions/locales.
Actively participate in daily scrum meetings to discuss the ongoing/upcoming topics and share visibility on the challenges/blockers while working on the authoring topics.
Manage issues or authoring fixes raised by the QA team and the DCAD Team (i.e., development team) as efficiently as possible and assign those tickets to the webmaster team.
Following up with countries or concerned teams for the validations and approval of the content to push the pages live and bring tickets to closure.
