Quality Systems & Process Industrializations Leader

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guarantee the deployment, effectiveness, and permanence of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Activity of Site, ensuring compliance with ISO/TS 16949 Norm and Michelin Group guidelines.
  • Manage the process business portfolio and validate new processes, including machines, methods, and measurements, to meet product needs and enhance industrial performance.
  • Coordinate actions for process business projects, ensuring adherence to the Michelin "Homologation / Qualification / Industrial Robustness" approach.

Key Achievements:

Quality Management System (QMS):

  • Update and maintain the QMS of the activity to meet regulatory requirements, ISO/TS 16949 Norm, customer requirements, and Michelin Group requirements.
  • Organize internal and external audits to demonstrate the relevance of the QMS and manage all evidence.
  • Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities to supply the Annual Progress Plan of the activity/site.
  • Formalize the processes of the activity/site, assign owners to manage their efficiency and effectiveness, and address any nonconformities.
  • Integrate required referentials and standards into the QMS and establish a proper strategy for document management.
  • Define and deploy training courses related to the QMS within the activity of the Site.

Process Industrialization:

  • Recognize and address process evolutions, including software and automations, within the site's activity with quality planning.
  • Consider product and industrial performances (Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Delivery, Cost) to create functional specifications.
  • Validate processes according to the Michelin "Homologation / Qualification / Industrial Robustness" approach and planned timelines.
  • Apply "Right First Time" principles for process control and anticipate risks to achieve expected performance levels.
  • Update PFMEA (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and define prioritized action plans for improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in managing Quality Management Systems and process industrialization in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 Norm and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional project management skills to successfully implement new processes and meet timelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to coordinate actions and advise process owners.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize pathways for progress.
  • Strict attention to detail to ensure flawless adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Drive to excel in the world-class manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in using quality tools and methodologies for process improvement.
  • Adaptable and flexible to navigate within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
